MONUMENTO À GALINHA (MONUMENT TO THE CHICKEN) #1
Audio-recording, photos

Photos: Pedro Cláudio (picture of Luís Soares), Luís Soares (picture of the Monument to the chicken).

In 2009, while walking through the streets of Lisbon, I discovered a board covered in identity photos and pictures of weddings and baptisms. They belonged to the photographer Luís Soares who has been working in Lisbon for years. Next to these photos of anonymous people was a black and white one of the Monumento à galinha (Monument to the chicken).
